Dancers perform in Nashville

In November 2023 DCT brought 13 incredible students to perform at the Grand Ole Opry stage and in front of the Bridgestone area downtown Nashville. Dancers performed on the Opry Stage for an 8 minute routine. The Bridgestone performance was with hundreds of dancers all across the Country wearing the signature red glitter Christmas boots. The ages of the girls ranged from 8-18 years.

2023 3 Dancers Compete at Nationals

Peyton Glorivgen (11), Ava Staskivige (15) and Lilly Sevigny (16) 

Peyton & Ava got special invitations. They were invited to Nationals to Compete as a Dancer of the Year Nominee. Ava attended the Duluth, Minnesota Nationals and Peyton attended the Destin, Florida Nationals. Along with our DOTY participants we also had our highest most consistent scoring regional Soloist compete one last time at the Duluth Nationals. Lilly Performed her Jazz Solo in the Senior age bracket. She scored 4th Overall, 1st in the Jazz Category, Platinum placement and a Special Judges Choice.

In December 2021 DCT brought 13 incredible students to perform at Walt Disney World. Dancers performed on the outdoor Disney Spring stage for an 8 minute routine. There was also two parade options for the girls. Some danced down Disney Springs and others chose an evening parade at Magic Kingdom. The ages of the girls ranged from 8-18 years.

Dahliah makes her mark at Nationals 2020

Our youngest Competitive dancer (6 years old) on our 2020 roster competes at Wisconsin Dells Nationals. She wins first place in her Category and Judges Choice for her Character routine choreographed by Kayla Shorma. 

Grace wins 2nd place at Nationals 2019

Grace Boedigheimer, 16, received her second National Dance Competition Invitation at the Grand Forks Regional Competition in February 2019. At Nationals she score 1st place in Lyrical for her solo and 2nd place overall.

Dancewerks 2019

Haley Roy & Ellie Warren attend Dancewerks. Dancewerks is a premiere, multi-dimensional dance organization located in Barrington, Illinois, that offers committed students of dance the opportunity to expand their dance studies in a professional, challenging, and nurturing environment. Dancewerks provides the very best in high-quality dance classes, musical theater training and performance opportunities.

Celebration Nationals 2018- WI

Ali Dorr and Mia Peters receive national title invites to attend Celebration Nationals. They both performed in the opening ceremonies with the rest of the dancer of the year finalist chosen in the Regional tour. Mia performed her solo and scored 13th overall with a Judges choice award for the stage presence. Ali Dorr scored 3rd overall and received 1st in her lyrical Category. Both routines were choreographed by Kayla Shorma. 

National Title 2018- Orlando

Lilly Trest competes at Nationals and participates in the invite only dancer of the year finalist Competition. Lilly's acrobatic Solo choreographed by Kayla Shorma scored 1st platinum overall and received a showstopper judges choice award. 

Dance the World 2018

June 2018 DCT is brought 28 dancers to perform on the World stage in Epcot along with parades at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. 

Lettering through GRHS

Starting in 2014 our studio was the first competitive studio to qualify to letter through the Grand Rapids High School and the Minnesota High School league. We were a part of the progress from day 1. Congrats dancers. 

Celebration Nationals 2016

Lily Trest, Haley Roy and Reese Roy qualified for Nationals during their 2016 Competitive Season. All of the girls scored gold, High Gold or Platinum. 

Citrus Bowl 2017

Dreams Come True dancers performed at the Citrus Bowl halftime show on Saturday Dec. 31 2016 in Orlando, Fla. The performance was put on by a nationally-acclaimed production company with renowned choreographers and show designers. The Citrus Bowl was held at the Camping World Stadium. A total of 19 dancers and family members made the trip from Grand Rapids. Haley Roy, Charli Seelye, Emilee Selmser and Gina Motherway attended. 

Triple S Nationals 2016

DCT brought 11 routines to the Triple S National Dance Competition in Wisconsin Dells. All of our routines scored 2 stars and a trio performed by Ali Dorr, Grace Boedigheimer and Haley Roy scored 3 stars which is the highest score placement at this event. This trio also scored 2nd place overall and 2nd place in their lyrical category.  Reese Roy scored 1st place open solo, Brina Thoennes scored 2nd place hip hop solo, MaKayla Temple score 2nd place Tap solo, MaKayla Temple and Jordan Eilertson scored 1st place for their musical theatre duet. Grace Boedigheimer scored 5th overall in the pre-teen category and 2nd in the lyrical category.

Citrus Bowl 2016

Finckbone Wins Title 2014

Haylee Finckbone wins National title at Celebration Talent at 8 years old along with winning the Spooktacular Dancer Title in the Fall of 2014

Roy Wins all Titles

Haley Roy wins 3 titles in the Spring of 2015 winning the Super Star of the North Award, High Score Dancer and Dancer of Excellence.
