We have an observation area. Please be mindful of others and the space while using this area. We want all our families to be able to enjoy watching their children dance. 

Illness 

 This includes any illness symptom such as fever, cough, runny nose, diarrhea, muscle pain, nausea, shortness of breath, chills, fatigue, congestion and headache.  If your dancer has  illness symptoms they must be 48 hours free of symptoms to return to class. Please do not not have your dancer enter our building more than 8 minutes before their scheduled class time. Hair must ALWAYS be pulled back and away from the face. Baggy clothes are not allowed. No pants of any sort may be worn for a ballet class. Shorts, tights, leotards, leggings and skirts are allowed in class. Dancers in Classes Level I and up are required to wear the appropriate dance shoes for the class. Dancers in classes age 2- 5 should have bare feet, no socks please. No jewelry is allowed worn in class except for small earrings. Dancers must come prepared for class wearing dance attire. If dance wear is forgotten you may borrow dance clothes from DCT.

Adding & Dropping

Recreational dancers who drop their commitments after December 1st of the year they are dancing, are charged a $100 fee. 

 

Competitive dancers who drop their commitments after August 1st of the year they are dancing, are subject to owing the rest of the season dues or fee or $100 per routine. Competitive season runs from June-May each year. 

 DCT reserves the right to terminate any membership for any reason at any time. 

 

Progress & Levels

DCT classes are divided up into levels according to age; and a few by ability.

To find the class that is the best fit for your dancer, or if you would like coach feedback on how your dancer is doing in class, please contact us. We offer a September-April session ending with a Spring Show and a 4 week summer session.

Tuition & Fees

A registration fee of $35 per student, $40 per family is payable before a students may enter the studio each year. DCT tuition is a membership fee we do not prorate for cancelled classes or when classes fall on Holidays. Tuition is due each month we have dance and covers any extra class/rehearsals up until our Spring Show. All our accounts are set on a autopay system. You choose your withdrawal date. If you need to change your withdrawal date at any time contact dct, there is a $5 fee to change your due date. If a card is denied for the month due a $25 fee will be applied to your account at the end of the month. If autopay is not for your family, please pay your tuition via check or cash in 3-4 month parts. Registration, costume, competition fees and tuition are non-refundable. Missed classes will not be pro-rated. Any accounts 60 days overdue will be contacted by our billing staff and the account will be brought to collections. Autopays split between parents must be charged as two separate accounts for registration fees.

Dance Shows & Costumes

Recreational students perform in one two day Dance Show each year. A dance costume fee of $75 per student per dance class is charged. Payment is taken from your November autopay. Your dancer will be sized in class prior to the costume due dates. We suggest that a parent or guardian is present to confirm the child's costume size. If no parent/guardian is present a size will be chosen for your dancer up to the Coaches discretion. If the dancer is between sizes the Coach will choose larger. Costumes cannot be returned or exchanged. Costumes come in general sizes small, medium and large. Any costumes that needs alterations will be the parent/guardian responsibility. You may also request a sizing chart via email to measure your dancer at home to confirm the size. DCT uses sizing leotards for measuring in studio.

Liability

Parents/students/legal guardians of minor students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on Dreams Come True property or performance sites resulting from dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class time. 

 

For consideration which I acknowledge, I irrevocably grant to Dreams Come True Dance and assigns, licensees, and successors the right to use my Dancer’s images, videos and name in all forms and media including composite or modified representations for all purposes, including advertising, trade, or any commercial purpose throughout the world and in perpetuity. I waive the right to inspect or approve versions of my image used for publication or the written copy that may be used in connection with the images.
